Cuban Health Agreement Has Benefited Over 51 Thousand Venezuelans

 

Caracas, May 31 (RHC) The health agreement between Cuba and Venezuela has registered 51 thousand 525 Venezuelans to have benefited from medical treatments in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas. During the 2nd Cuba-Venezuela Social Agreement Meeting, which took place on Wednesday in the Venezuelan city of Guyana, the national coordinator of the collaboration, Johnny Ramos, said that the achievements cannot be hidden or minimized.

New Trade Options between Cuba and the Dominican Republic Being Explored

 

Santo Domingo, May 31 (RHC) Cuban officials from the Foreign Trade and Investment Ministry stated that the Cuban policy seeks to widen its exchange with other Caribbean nations, which is a similar goal of the Dominican Republic. At a meeting between the Cuban Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Alexis Bandrich, and specialists Jesús Gonzálex, from the Direction of Latin America and the Caribbean from that ministry, and Belsis Llorente, from the International Economics Organization, they discussed increased bilateral trade.

Alarcón Congratulates New Syrian Parliament President

 

Havana, May 31 (RHC) Cuban Parliament President, Ricardo Alarcon de Quesada, congratulated his Syrian counterpart, Mohammed Jihad Al-Laham, on his recent appointment as head of that country’s legislative body. A letter from the president of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba expresses his desire to work towards strengthening cooperation between both legislative bodies.
