Many U.S. young adults at risk of skin cancer

Despite warnings about the dangers of excess sun exposure, many U.S.young adults still get sunburned or use indoor tanning beds, which are increasing their risk for developing skin cancer, according to two studies by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Cancer Institute.

X International Seminar on Active Aging Begins in Cuba

Havana, May 2 (RHC) The Caribbean Medical Association and the 120 year Club welcomed all participants to the X International Seminar on Active Aging. This Seminar has the objective of establishing intergenerational exchanges about how to maintain long and productive lives. The seminar is taking place from May 2nd to 4th at Cuba’s National Hotel.
