Fidel Castro´s Book will be Launched in a Dozen Countries on Wednesday

Havana, March 13 (RHC)—The book containing a dialog held by Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro and intellectuals from 21 countries last February 10 on the most serious problems facing the planet will be launched in over 12 cities of the world on March 14, marking Cuban Media Day.

The book, titled Our Duty is Keep Fighting, will be simultaneously launched at Havana´s Casa de Las Americas Institution, as well as in Caracas, Quito, Buenos Aires, Luanda, Santo Domingo, La Paz, Mexico City, Bridgetown, San Juan, Kingston, Washington, Madrid and Berlin at 19 hours GMT.alt

Journalist Stella Calloni, who will present the book in Buenos Aires, told PL news agency that spreading the content of the book is of great significance since Fidel Castro addressed the most serious problems pending on the planet.

Like in the Earth Summit twenty years ago, Fidel again warned about the risk of extinction facing the  human species due to the irrational predation of the environment given by natural phenomena, the proliferation of wars and the increasing arsenals of weapons of mass destruction, Calloni said.

The meeting with Fidel last February encouraged the Network in Defense of Humanity to take action and revealed the necessity that the intellectuals around the world must play a more active role in this regards.

The presentation of the book in Havana, Caracas, Buenos Aires and Washington will be broadcast live on the Justin.TV Internet video streaming website.
