Havana, March 31 (RHC) -- The vice president of the Federation of Students of the University of Chile, Camila Vallejo, will travel to Cuba on Monday to participate in the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Cuban Young Communist League (UJC) on April 4.

According to La Tercera newspaper, Vallejo will be a “guest of honor” of the UJC celebrations and her agenda in the Caribbean nation includes several activities and meetings with students.

Vallejo is scheduled to speak with students in six Faculties of the University of Havana about topics such as the political situation in Chile, the student protests of last year, and the strengthening of social movements in the South American nation.
