Raul Castro Bids Farewell to Presidet Hugo Chavez

Havana, May 12 (RHC) -- The farewell of Cuban President Raul Castro to his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez was highlighted by the Cuban Press today.

The local daily newspapers “Granma” and “Juventud Rebelde” published an article accompanied by a photo of both presidents giving each other a hug at Havana’s Jose Marti international airport on Friday afternoon.

According to the newspapers, President Chavez said that he will rejoin the first line of the battle when he arrives in Venezuela and will continue working for the electoral campaign for the October 7 elections in Venezuela this year.
