News Cuba Carries Out 48-hour Tweet for its Rights

Havana, May 23 (RHC) -- Cuban Internet surfers are taking part in a two-day tweet marathon, the second to take place this year, to defend the rights of the island from 54 years of anti-Cuba media campaigns orchestrated by the United States.
The tweet marathon, which began today at 10 a.m. local time (14:00 UTC), is driven by an interest to endorse the humane efforts and solidarity of the Cuban Revolution. According to Prensa Latina news agency, the two-day “tweet-a-thon” will promote the real Cuba, instead of a Cuba invented by the Western media. The Twitter session will also expose the crimes of war and torture committed by the United States.
