News Ecuadorian FM holds talks with Cuban VP Ricardo Casbrisas

Havana, July 17, (RHC), -- Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño, has met on Monday in Havana with Cuban Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas to review the state of bilateral relations between the two Latin American nations.
The meeting, which also involved other government authorities, assessed the economic and cooperation links between Quito and Havana, as well as joint projects in the fields of agriculture, tourism and industry.
The ongoing cooperation in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors was also highlighted by the Ecuadorian minister.
The dignitaries also discussed the strengthening of regional integration mechanisms such as the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA), and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean (CELAC).
Ecuadorian Foreign Minister arrived in Havana as part of a tour of several Caribbean nations including Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and Guyana.
