Havana, May 9 (RHC)The presence of more than 1 million 730 thousand travellers to Cuba between December and April represents a record of foreign visitors in a season of high reception of tourists.

During the opening of the 32^nd International Fair FITCUBA 2012, Manuel Marrero, Minister of Tourism of Cuba, highlighted that the country has important natural resources, together with the historical and cultural heritage. He pointed out that those attractions captivate people from Canada, France, Argentina and many other issuing markets. 

Marrero also spoke about the works that have been done in some tourist poles like in Havana, Remedios and Gibara. He also mentioned that the national hotel chain is going under a process of restoration, such as the case of the famous hotel Capri, in the capital.
