FMLN Ratifies Pledge to Boost Economic Growth in El Salvador
San Salvador, February 25 (RHC) -- The left-wing Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN) of El Salvador has ratified its commitment to promote the recovery of the national economy in order to improve the living conditions for the population.
During an interview in San Salvador, FMLN Deputy, Orestes Ortez, said that the continuation of these efforts are part of the Legislative Platform presented by the government for the the 2012-2015 period.
Ortez stressed that these efforts are also linked to the strengthening of issues that are permanent in the work of the country’s economy as enshrined in the historical program of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front.
According to a survey conducted by the CID-Galup firm, the ruling political group has taken a lead in the polls showing how people intend to vote in the municipal and legislative elections slated for March. The FMLN is followed by the opposition Nationalist Republican Alliance and the Grand Alliance for National Unity parties.
