No More Rumors about Chavez´s Health Claims Foreign Minister

Cartagenade Indias, May 4 (RHC)—Venezuela´s foreign minister Nicolas Maduro said speculations and rumors about the health of President Chavez must stop.

Despite his cancer treatment, President Chavez is meeting his duties and taking decisions appropriately, said Maduro in Cartagena de Indias during a ministerial meeting of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR). alt

The Venezuelan government official made it clear that Chavez has not delegated any of his functions as head of state and he is looking forward to garnering the victory at the October 7 presidential elections in Venezuela.
