Hezbollah Says U.S. and Israel Use Terrorism against Syria
Beirut, May 12 (RHC)—The leader of Hezbollah movement (God´s Party) Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, accused the United States, Israel and some Arab countries of promoting terrorism in Syria to turn the country into a new Iraq, according to local media.
Nasrallah said that Washington, Tel Aviv and some Arab enemies of Syria´s Bashar Al-Assad want to topple the government in Damascus because it is the main ally of the resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine, according to AL-Manar TV.
The Syrian people are at a crossroads with a lane leading to reforms and the other to destruction, said the leader of the main Lebanese Shiite resistance organization in a speech Friday evening in Beirut.
Nasrallah also condemned the terrorist bomb attacks launched by enemies of Al-Assad in Damascus, which killed 55 persons and wounded another 370.
Hezbollah has weapons that can beat targets in Israel, said Nasrallah and noted that if a war breaks out, they would use those weapons to destroy such objectives in retaliation for every building bombed in Beirut during the aggression that killed at least 1200 Lebanese citizens.
